Kanayo Omo
Acting Coach / Director
Kanayo Omo is an award winning cinematographer and director on both the stage and screen. An acclaimed media trainer and acting coach; he is the Director of Blackwing Productions; a film and strategic media production company that started in California (USA), now with branches in the UK and Nigeria where it’s production services include training, documentary, effects and show designs for several top tier companies. Kanayo recently directed the award wining Kakadu, The Musical also designing it’s ground breaking lighting effects as technical director. He is a Co founder of the international black film festival of Nashville and also formerly it’s artistic director. A graduate of the University of Benin, Nigeria, and the winner of many artistic excellence awards. He has been involved in over 40 major screen and stage productions as Artistic and Technical Director/ Cinematographer and Consultant. His career has taken him across Europe and the United states where he has worked closely with many notable international names such as Debbie Allen, Stephen Spielberg, Kent gash, John Turtletub, etc. Kanayo is a member of AFTRA / SAG (US) and a partner in G House Studios (UK) producing films for the international market. Artist & Author
Siku is an artist, author, theologian and musician. He has worked for Marvel UK and COM X. He is one of Britain’s leading comic book creators having worked for 2000AD; producing hundreds of titles such as Judge Dredd, Slaine and a strip he co-created called Pan-African Judges. He is the author and creator of the best-selling The Manga Bible which is translated into 20 languages and the author of The Manga Jesus (2007 and 2010). Siku is also a broadcaster and Jerusalem Award nominee for BBC Radio, scripting and leading Radio 2 and Radio 4 Worship Services. Annual speaker at Eton College, schools and churches. He also worked as Visuals Director in video games and television. He is currently listed as one of London’s most noted black people in Black Londoners - A History. Ndu Anike
Writer / Producer
Ndu Anike is an international award winning writer. With a PhD in Creative Writing, Ndu has taught Drama in several English universities including Goldsmiths, London and Northampton. He has also worked with Wisemoves Dance Company, The Eastside Educational Trust and The Adzido Group, creating performances for schools and communities across the United Kingdom. After training with BBC London, Ndu wrote a 19 Episode sitcom for Amaka Igwe Studios. Since then, he has written and produced several feature films including Justified, Madam Peckham and Second Chance. Ndu is currently a Producer/Director at G House Studios in Hertfordshire, England. Ruke Amata, from the Amata family, is one of the founding producers of the Nigerian Movie industry that has come to be known as “Nollywood”. A graduate of Dramatic Arts, from one of the leading universities in Nigeria, he studied under Nobel Laureate – Wole Soyinka and has been a practicing audio-visual practitioner and consultant for over 25 years, exhibiting a high level of professionalism, dedication and commitment. A producer, writer, actor, cinematographer, editor and director, his credits include award-winning movies such as: S.O.D, Osuofia in London, The Return, The Fire and The Glory, Battle of Love, The Past Came Calling, Shameful Deceit and a host of others. He also produced and directed the highly acclaimed TV drama series “Bachelors”. He is the initiator of the acting talent hunt and training programme: Class Act UK.
Malcom Benson
Mr Malcolm A Benson is the Director and Executive Producer at Benalex Media Production. He is a creative champion specializing in Screen Play Writing, Producing, Acting, and Directing in different areas including films and television. Mr Benson has successfully completed a number of projects such as Phantom of Fury; Forget the Pact, Ortega and His Enemies, Lads in The City and Return of The Don etc. He has also produced and directed TV programmes such as Take 101 and Show4Africa TV. His recent film Return of The Don has won the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival Award of Recognition, including receiving other nominations such as The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards, The Depth of Field International Film Festival Competition, and Accolade International Film Festival etc. Mr Malcolm A Benson has a professional Legal and Educational background and has been awarded Best UK Film Director and Best UK Actor at the African Film Awards. He has also won the Gathering of Africa’s Best Awards (GAB) and The Life Changers Award as a Champion in the work of Art
